![]() ![]() With a GW call you must be in Wales, right? Thanks, Butch - WA4GIF. Hopefully this will give you some insight into my problems. The way I have to do it now is to type in a callsign and sig report and then go back in to update the frequency/band information. I really need it to work with HRD so it passes the radio's information into the Logging program. Home Assistant wasnt available for almost 15 minutes after the reboot but eventually got back, without recorder, logbook etc. I have tried to un-install the HRD and re-install but no difference in getting the error. I restored the drive and now I get the error stated in the subject. The only difference from when it did work to now is that I backed up the C: drive and then installed another 128GB SSD (Same Type) and set it for RAID 0 so I get 222GB now. Also the DM780 Digital Modes program gets the same error now. Now I get the failure when it runs along with HRD but not when I run it by itself. My Ham Radio Deluxe never stopped working and the HRD Log program started automatically when I started HRD. The programs would run if I go to E:\Program Files and run them. The program list and shortcuts would say its only valid for installed programs. Then all of a sudden my installed programs didn't work right. I followed instructions on SSD optimization and it worked for a long time. Because I use a SSD I have been installing on a 2TB hard disk (E:). ![]() ![]() When it worked I had one 128GB SSD for my C: drive. A QSO is another word for contact, as in I made 783 QSOs during Field Day last year or Making QSOs with European stations was difficult during the contest. What happens and I'm not quite sure why, is my programs get lost. What does QSO mean in ham radio Ham Radio operators still make liberal use of them today. Yes, it used to work on my Windows 7 - 64 bit computer. ![]()
